Goose Bay Airport Unveils MAMAVA

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay congratulates the Goose Bay Airport Corporation’s launch of the MAMAVA at the Goose Bay Airport, continuing the trend of truly making Happy Valley-Goose Bay one of the most Baby-Friendly Communities.
Even though the Goose Bay Airport is a Baby-Friendly Breastfeeding location; the MAMAVA, a portable and private location within the Airport facility, will allow Breastfeeding Mothers an opportunity to Breastfeed their Baby in a quiet and private location.
“I am so pleased to see the MAMAVA at the Goose Bay Airport. The Goose Bay Airport Corporation took on this very important project without hesitation,” says Lori Dyson Edmunds, GBAC Board Member and Happy Valley-Goose Bay Town Councillor.
The MAMAVA located in the Goose Bay Airport is one of only three MAMAVA airport locations across the country. Vancouver and Toronto airports are the only other airports that have the MAMAVA.
