The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay advises that undertook an official visit to the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay on September 21, 2018. Her Excellency, The Right Honourable Julie Payette along with Her Honour The Honourable Judy May Foote met with Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Mayor, His Worship Wilson (Wally Andersen).
From Town Hall, Her Excellency proceeded to the Birch Island Boardwalk with children from Ecole Boreal, as well as members of Healthy Waters Labrador for community walk along the Birch Island Boardwalk.
The Governor General of Canada was also joined by the Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, along with youth volunteers Lianna Rice and Deseray Rich.
