The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay understands the current COVID-19 situation has cast somewhat of a dark shadow over our community. A resident contacted the Town with a fantastic idea; let’s keep all of the holiday lights up and turned on at least until we move back to Alert Level 3.
We think that is a superb idea, so the Town will keep all holiday lighted displays, and the Town Christmas Tree lit until the Province moves back into Alert Level 3. We encourage businesses and residents to do the same.
The 13th Council, Management, and Staff of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay hope this small gesture will bring a little hope and happiness to everyone’s day. Stay safe, and remember, let’s be kind to each other.
