The month of June is known as “Recreation Month’ throughout all communities in Newfoundlandland and Labrador, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is no exception. At a lunchtime ceremony held at Town Hall; His Worship Mayor Wilson (Wally) Andersen along with members of the 12th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and the Town’s Director of Community Services & Recreation signed a Proclamation declaring the month of June 2019 as ‘Recreation Month” in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
