Kinsmen Park Open for Summer Season
Release Date: May 18, 2022

 

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Community Services and Recreation is pleased to inform the community that Kinsmen Park is OPEN to the public effective immediately. Hours of operation (subject to change) will be 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily.

Residents are advised that the washroom facilities at Kinsmen Park are not available at this time.

Kinsmen Park Splash Pad is not operational at this time. Once seasonal conditions allow, the Splash Pad will be operational. Stay tuned for future updates.

Furthermore, all Municipal Playgrounds are open and include the following locations:

 

  • SPRUCE PARK PLAYGROUND
  • LAURIER LOOP PLAYGROUND
  • STEVES PLAYGROUND
  • ROBERTS ROAD PLAYGROUND
  • FORD STREET PLAYGROUND
  • PERRAULT PLACE PLAYGROUND

 

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is pleased to offer these amazing outdoor playgrounds and other outdoor recreational facilities. The various facilities are there for the enjoyment of our communities’ families. Respectful use and behaviour at all Town facilities are vital to ensure safe enjoyment for all. If you witness behaviours or activities that are potentially unsafe or disrespectful the Town encourages you to “report it before you post it” and contact the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Municipal Enforcement Line at 896-3322 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
