Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay wishes to advise the public that the Municipal Landfill will be closed to commercial and residential traffic on Monday, May 30th.
The landfill will be closed due to a surface debris fire which occurred on Sunday, May 29th. Town Crews have contained the fire and there is no danger to public safety. The landfill will be closed to allow crews to add more coverage on the area.
