The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is encouraging residents to place organic Christmas trees roadside for collection and proper disposal.
This collection/disposal service is for organic Christmas trees only. All decorations must be removed.
Please note the town will not be collecting artificial Christmas trees.
Members of the community are also permitted to drop off their organic Christmas trees at the Municipal Landfill.
All collected organic Christmas trees will be mulched in the town’s new mobile wood chipper this spring. The organic waste will be utilized for landscaping and recreational purposes throughout the community.
