Proclamation
June is National PRIDE Month

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is pleased to host the Proclamation declaring June as National Pride Month in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
As a municipality and a community, we are delighted to have partnered with Safe Alliance in a Noon hour ceremony held in front of the Town Hall.
On hand for the Proclamation signing ceremony and raising of the PROGRESS PRIDE Flag were Mayor George Andrews, Deputy Mayor Ella Wallace, Councillor Pamela Duffett, Councillor Hayward Broomfield, Councillor Denise Rumbolt and Councillor Darrell Bennett of the 13th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Members of Safe Alliance, Martina Lavallee on behalf of Labrador MP Yvonne Jones, Bonnie Learning representing Lake Melville MHA Perry Trimper, and Nunatsiavut Minister Gerald Asivak were also on hand to join a large group of people on a frigid and windy first day of June.
His Worship, Mayor George Andrews, read aloud and signed the Proclamation declaring June as National PRIDE Month in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
