Proclamation Safe Alliance Pride Week

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is pleased to host the official kick-off to Pride Week 2021 in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay. As a municipality, a community, we are delighted to have partnered with Labrador Safe Alliance in a Noon hour ceremony held in front of Town Hall.
On hand for the Proclamation signing ceremony and the raising of the Pride Flag were Deputy Mayor Bert Pomeroy and Councillor Lori Dyson Edmunds of the 12th Council of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador Safe Alliance, Labrador MP Yvonne Jones, Arlene Pittman on behalf of MHA Perry Trimper, and Nunatsiavut Minister Gerald Asivak.
Deputy Mayor Pomeroy read aloud and signed the Proclamation declaring July 19 to 24, 2021, as Pride Week in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
