FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public of possible thin ice conditions along the Churchill River, in the area of:
D’s Landing to the Mud Lake Crossing
Individuals using snowmobiles are asked to take extra precautions in this area, due to open water and possible poor ice conditions along this route.
Caution signage will be put in place next week to warn those accessing the route. In the meantime, the Town is asking for the public’s assistance in spreading this message.
