The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Santa Clause Parade took place on Saturday, December 10th, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. The 2022 Santa Claus Parade, despite the chilly temperature drew a great crowd young and old alike!
The theme of the 2022 Santa Parade was “Light Show at the North Pole”.
Winners were announced following the 2022 Santa Claus Parade in the College of the North Atlantic Gymnasium. Judges noted that selecting the winners of each category was difficult as there were so many amazing floats to choose from.
The 2022 Santa Claus Parade winners are:
- Best Adherence to Theme “Light Show at the North Pole“ – MUN Labrador Campus
- Best Illuminated Float – Cabot Auto
- Best Commercial Float – Baytech Mechanical
- Best Decorated Float – 5 Wing Goose Bay
Santa Claus also made an appearance at the College Gymnasium following the Parade and handed out treat bags to the children.
A special thank you to the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Volunteer Fire Department for putting the treat bags together, those involved in providing traffic safety and everyone who played a part in making the parade a great success!
