Information for the Public
Join us for the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay’s annual Santa Parade this Saturday, December 3rd!
Parade Start Time: 6:00 p.m.
Parade Route: Along Hamilton River Road, from Green Street to the College of the North Atlantic Campus. *Fireworks will be set off during the parade from Husky Park*
The Town is advising the public that the following streets will be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC for the Santa Parade.
Green Street – CLOSED AT 4:30 P.M.
Between Palliser Crescent & Hamilton River Road
The access road will also be closed at the corner of:
Palliser Crescent and Goose Avenue
Cabot Crescent and Cook Street
Hamilton River Road – CLOSED AT 6:00 P.M.
Between Grenfell Street and the College of the North Atlantic
Drop off locations for children and others participating in the parade are: the Knights of Columbus parking lot or the Goudie Building parking lot. Parking and dropping off parade participants at Queen of Peace Middle School is NOT PERMITTED.
Everyone is invited to gather in the College gymnasium after the parade for photos with Santa and treats!
Float prizes will be presented after the parade for:

Best Decorated
Best Adherence to the Theme: Christmas Presents
Best Commercial Entry
