Mosquito and Dakota Range Active
Nov 10, 2021 – Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Nfld – Canadian Armed Forces
5 Wing Goose Bay would like to advise the public that Mosquito Range will be active November 12, 2021 between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Dakota Range will be open November 12, 2021 between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
CAUTION TAPE has been placed around trails in the area of range are for Public Safety. Trails blocked of by caution tape are blocked to protect you. Inside those taped off areas there is an increased danger to the public.
Please be advised that there are red flags positioned around the ranges. When these flags are flying, it is a clear warning that live shooting is in progress. Roads in the areas will be closed with red wooden barricades during this timeframe. For your own safety, please remain clear of the designated areas during this period.
