Scheduled Water Shut-off: MOT Area – August 09, 2018

The Town of Happy Valley- Goose Bay is advising residents of an urgent water shut-off on Thursday, August 09, 2018, due to necessary repairs to the Water Distribution System. The areas affected include:
Macdonald Drive – Addresses 38 to 97
MacKenzie Drive
Thompson Drive
Mealy Mountain Drive
Barret Street
Valley View Drive
Hale Street
St Laurent Street
Eagle River Credit Union
Terrys Tents
The Golf Course Suites
Edmunds Crescent
This shut-off is necessary to complete repairs and will begin 9:00am until 4:00pm or until repairs are completed. As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a boil water advisory (once the work has been completed and water restored) for this area until further notice.
Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.
For Example, boil water used for:
Drinking
Brushing teeth
Making juice from concentrate and powders
Cooking
Washing fruits and vegetables
Making tea, coffee and other hot drinks
Making infant formula and cereals
