The Town of Happy Valley- Goose Bay is advising residents that contractors will be hooking up the water line for the new Pumpkin House on Tuesday, May 22nd.
Due to this work, there will be a scheduled water shut-off on Tuesday, May 22nd from approximately 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., for the following streets:
Ikey Street
Randell Crescent
Martin Street
Bird Street
Once the work has been completed, residents in the above areas will be on a boil water advisory until further notice. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.
For Example, boil water used for:
Drinking
Brushing teeth
Making juice from concentrate and powders
Cooking
Washing fruits and vegetables
Making tea, coffee and other hot drinks
Making infant formula and cereals
