Snow Clearing Operations & Street Widening On-Going
Information for the Public
Release Date: February 09, 2023
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department is advising residents that snow clearing & street widening operations are ongoing.
Crews will be scraping, widening, and sanding municipal streets, and cutting down high snowbanks at intersections. In the meantime, the Town encourages motorists to drive with caution and always adjust their driving with the current conditions. As the saying goes “Ice & Snow, Take It Slow”.
Crews are currently working in the Middle Valley area and will proceed to the Upper Valley area until approximately February 19th.
Motorists are also reminded that the On-Street Parking Ban is in effect until April 30, 2023. Please do not park on the side of any municipal street at any time.
The Town appreciates your co-operation during this time and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
