Snow Clearing Operations: Street Widening

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising residents that street widening operations will be taking place throughout this weekend, March 17th – 19th , in the following areas:
Ikey Street
Michelin Street
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THESE STREETS
Your assistance will allow our public works crews to safely and efficiently widen the roadways with the snow blower and grader.
In the interest of public safety, the Town also encourages the public to become familiar with the Municipal Traffic Regulations related to snow clearing. The snow clearing regulations are in effect until mid-April 2017.
To allow for safe snow clearing operations, residents and business owners are advised:
- NOT TO PARK on any street between 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m.;
- NOT TO PARK on any street for up to 12 hours after a snow storm; and
- NOT TO place/throw snow or ice on any street, sidewalk or public parking lots within Town limits.
