Snow Clearing Operations: Street Widening

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Public Works Department is advising residents that street widening operations for the below-listed streets will take place today, Friday, February 19, 2021:
Morning:
- Chaulk Street
- Gear Street
- Davis Crescent
- Winters Crescent
- Deharving Drive
Operations will include Cutting, Scraping with a Grader, and then the Snow Blower to widen streets. Blown snow will be trucked away; please use extreme caution in the areas mentioned above.
Afternoon:
In the afternoon, Public Works Crews move into Snow Clearing and Widening the below-listed streets:
- Mitchell Street
- Pottle Street
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THESE STREETS
Your assistance will allow our public works crews to safely and efficiently widen the roadways with the snowblower and grader.
The Town will provide further schedule updates as they become available.
