The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is asking residents to respect the snow clearing regulations in place during the winter months.
These regulations are in effect until mid-April, 2016. The town encourages everyone to become familiar with the traffic regulations related to snow clearing, which can be found on the town’s website: http://www.happyvalley-goosebay.com/home/town_regulations.htm
Please abide by the following regulations this winter season, to allow for safe snow clearing operations:
• Parking is not permitted on any street in town between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m.
• Parking is not permitted on any street in town for 12 hours after a snow storm.
• It is not permitted to intentionally or unintentionally place any accumulation of snow or ice on streets, sidewalks or public parking lots within town limits. *With the exception of town employees or contractors conducting snow clearing operations.*
