Street Renaming – Mesher, Michelin, and Lethbridge Area

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising residents of a recent renaming of streets in the Mesher, Michelin, and Lethbridge area. Council ratified the decision in its July 23rd, 2019 Regular Meeting of Council.
Please see important details below:
- Civic addresses from 1 to 20 Mesher Street is now Mesher Street South
- Civic addresses from 21 to 40 Mesher Street is now Mesher Street North
- Civic addresses from 1 to 20 Michelin Street is now Michelin Street South
- Civic addresses from 21 to 40 Michelin Street is now Michelin Street North
- Lethbridge Street no longer stop at the Mesher Street intersection and now continues North to the new Mesher Street North intersection
- Campbell Street no longer stop at the Michelin Street intersection and now continues North to the new Michelin Street North intersection
- Civic numbers on Mesher and Michelin are staying the same (only the street name is changing – except those who have already been notified)
The Town has implemented this address change in to:
- Reduce confusion within the Mesher, Michelin and Lethbridge area
- Increase efficiency in emergency response
- Increase safety within this area
