The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public that the Town Hall & Municipal Landfill (Dump) will be closed Monday, August 3, 2020, in observance of the Statutory Holiday, and will reopen Tuesday, August 4, 2020.
The Municipal Landfill will be:
OPEN Saturday, August 1 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
CLOSED Sunday, August 2
CLOSED Monday, August 3
OPEN Tuesday, August 4 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Town Hall Regular Hours of Operation:
CLOSED: Saturday and Sundays and on the below listed Statutory Holidays.
Municipal Landfill Regular Hours of Operation:
OPEN: Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
CLOSED: Sundays and on the following Statutory Holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Victoria Day
- Discovery Day now referred to as “June Day”
- Canada Day
- August Civic Holiday
- Labour Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Remembrance Day
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day (reduced hours)
