Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay to Waive Interest on

2020 Tax Billings

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public that it is closely monitoring information related to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

 

In follow up to the precautions announced on March 20, 2020; the Town is advising that in a March 25th, 2020, Regular Meeting of the 12th Council of Happy Valley-Goose Bay; Council voted unanimously to waive interest charges on 2020 Tax billings, including water and sewer fees, until July 31, 2020, due to the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19 which has caused widespread disruption and instability.

 

Residents and Businesses are advised that 2020 Tax Bills will be mailed out in the coming days.

 

As Residents and Businesses may be aware, the Town Hall is closed to public access. The Town is encouraging residents and businesses to pay tax bills using electronic means wherever possible. Please see the below information.
