Town Lowers Flags in Honour of Ed Roberts

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is saddened to learn of the passing of Ed Roberts at the age of 81.
Ed Roberts served as Newfoundland and Labrador’s 11th Lieutenant-Governor from 2002 to 2008 and served in the provincial legislature for decades.
The 13th Council, Management, and Staff of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay offer sincere condolences to friends and family of Ed Roberts.
In honour of his legacy and commitment to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, flags in front of Town Hall will fly at half-mast until sunset on the day of his funeral.
