Town Lowers Flags in Honour of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is saddened to learn of Prince Philip’s passing at the age of 99.
Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, was the longest-serving royal consort in British history.
The 12th Council, Management, and Staff of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay offer sincere condolences to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, members of the Royal Family, and the United Kingdom.
In honour of Prince Philip’s legacy and his devotion to the monarchy, flags in front of Town Hall will fly at half-mast until sunset on the day of his funeral service.
