Town Lowers Flags in Honour of William C. Burden

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is saddened to learn of the passing of William C. Burden.
Known to many as Bill, William Burden was a long time resident and businessman of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and served his community as a member of the Third, Fourth and Fifth Councils of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay from 1981 to 1993.
The 12th Council, Management, and Staff of the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay offer sincere condolences to William C. Burden’s family and friends.
In honour of his contribution, flags in front of Town Hall will fly at half-mast until after the funeral service.
