Traffic Advisory – Potholes

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Public Works Roads & Grounds is advising motorists that due to warm temperatures and spring thaw, potholes are becoming more exposed at a faster rate.
Crews are actively addressing the potholes by filling them in as they become exposed. Still, motorists should use extreme caution when traveling along the intersection of Kelland Drive & Churchill Street and Kelland Drive sections.
Town Crews will have all applicable Safety Signage visible, and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in and around the area as crews attempt to keep potholes filled.
The Town is reminding Motorists to reduce speeds on all municipal streets, especially in areas where water pooling has started.
