Traffic Advisory – Water Line Leakage
Montagnais Road Near Corte Real Intersection

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Department of Water & Sewer is advising residents and businesses that the Traffic Advisory remains in effect due to a leak in the waterline, there is water build upon a section of Montagnais Road near the intersection of Corte Real Road. Crews have barricades in place, and motorists are advised to drive with caution in this area.
Residents are further advised that Water & Sewer Crews will be conducting repairs starting at 9:30 AM on Monday, October 5, 2020, and there is a possibility of complete water loss to residents and business on Montagnais Road (both sides of the street). If necessary, the water loss could last several hours.

The Public is further advised that residences and businesses in this area MAY experience a loss of water or lower than usual water pressure during this timeframe and possible discoloration of water, this may also affect surrounding areas. If you notice water discoloration, please runs taps until the water runs clear. Residents in and around the above-mentioned area may already be experiencing water discoloration; if so, please runs taps until water coloration clears.
Upon completion of repairs to the Water Distribution Line, a Boil Water Advisory may be in effect. The Town will issue a follow-up notice to that effect.
Town Crews have barricades and all applicable Safety Signage visible, and motorists are encouraged to exercise caution in and around the area.
