Traffic Disruption – Water Line Repairs

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay Water & Sewer Department is advising residents and businesses that Town Crews will be conducting repairs on a Water Distribution Line on Palliser Crescent. This necessary work will commence on the morning of Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area as water pooling is occurring. Safety Signage and Barricades are in place and will remain throughout tonight.
Area to be affected:
- Palliser Crescent
Town Crews will shut off the water supply to Palliser Crescent to complete the emergency repairs.
Water Shut Off Will Occur at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, March 3, 2021. The water will be off for the repair duration, which could take 4 to 6 hours to complete.
Town Crews will have all applicable Safety Signage visible. Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution around the area as there will be crews and Heavy Equipment onsite.
The Town expects a follow-up Boil Water Advisory to follow, and a separate notice will go out to that effect once repairs are complete.
