Information for the Public
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public that the fire, which started on February 1st, at the Municipal Landfill is isolated to an area of scrap lumber.
While we are unable to determine how long it will take to put out the fire, Town crews are working to extinguish it as soon as possible.
The Municipal Landfill remains open for regular business hours.
The public will be notified should any unexpected issues arise and once the fire has been extinguished.
