INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC
The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay wishes to inform residents that due to an unexpected break in the water line, there is currently a water shut-off in effect for the following areas:
London Street
Victoria Street
Halifax Street
Ottawa Avenue: between Halifax and London Street
Water is anticipated to be restored to these areas by approximately 12:30 p.m. today.
As a result of this interruption, the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay will be issuing a boil water advisory, once the work is completed, for residents of this area until further notice. The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.
For Example, boil water used for:
Drinking
Brushing teeth
Making juice from concentrate and powders
Cooking
Washing fruits and vegetables
Making tea, coffee and other hot drinks
Making infant formula and cereals
