URGENT Water Shut-off Notice

The Town of Happy Valley- Goose Bay is advising residents of an urgent water shut-off on Friday, November 3rd. This shut-off is necessary to complete repairs in the system. The following areas will be affected:

 

Park Drive – from Spruce Avenue to Woodland Crescent

River Crescent

Spruce Avenue

Woodland Crescent

 

This shut-off is necessary to complete repairs which began Wednesday, November 1st.

As a result of this interruption, the Town will be issuing a boil water advisory (once the work has been completed) for this area until further notice.

 

Residents are advised to bring water that you might ingest to a rigorous rolling boil for one (1) minute.

For Example, boil water used for:

Drinking

Brushing teeth

Making juice from concentrate and powders

Cooking

Washing fruits and vegetables

Making tea, coffee and other hot drinks

Making infant formula and cereals
