Water Flushing Programs

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is reminding the public that annual water flushing programs are in progress.
Fire Hydrant & Sewer Flushing
Valley Area only
Monday – Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
These programs will be ongoing for the duration of the summer months and will include inspection, cleaning of the water mains, flushing and testing of fire hydrants.
These annual water flushing programs may cause temporary discoloration and sedimentation in the water supply. The Town recommends that residents open their taps and run the water until clear.
Please be advised that while using washing machines, discoloration of the water may cause staining of clothing.
