Water and Sewer Operations
Information for the Public
September 5, 2017

 

The Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay is advising the public of work being completed by the Water and Sewer department beginning on September 5^th, 2017. This includes:

 

1. Annual Flushing Programs

Beginning September 5^th

Paddon Road

Commercial Street

Montagnais Road

Saunders Street

 

Beginning September 6^th

Learning Street

Lethbridge Street

Mesher Street

Campbell Street

Michelin Street

 

These annual water flushing programs may cause temporary discoloration and sedimentation in the water supply. The Town recommends that residents open their taps and run the water until clear.

Please be advised that while using washing machines, discoloration of the water may cause staining of clothing.

 

 

2. Water Service Upgrades

 Wednesday, September 6^th

Winsor Drive

 

These upgrades will take place from approximately 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. During this time, Winsor Drive will be closed from 1 Winsor Drive to 18 Winsor Drive.

 

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause.
